Sea Donkey Documentary

In late 2014 James embarked on a demanding three-year production, to produce his first feature-length documentary film.

It follows Guernseyman and open-water swimmer Adrian Sarchet as he prepares to swim from Northern Ireland to Scotland.

James shot, directed and edited the film, which features an original score from music producer Nik Laker. Sea Donkey screened nationwide at a variety of small independent cinemas to sell-out audiences, while also being streamed worldwide. It went on to win the Offering of the Year award from the World Open Water Swimming Association.

About The Film
